Meta's range of platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger, encountered a significant disruption, making them unavailable to users.

 

A broad-reaching service disruption has impacted Meta's various digital platforms, specifically affecting Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. Users encountered challenges when trying to access and navigate the applications and websites, with certain individuals being automatically logged out of Facebook and unable to use Instagram at all. 
Users raised apprehensions regarding potential hacking, but Meta clarified that the concerns were stemming from issues with Facebook's login system, rather than a cyber attack. 
While Meta does not have official status pages for its consumer products, representative Andy Stone publicly acknowledged the issue on Twitter/X. Stone confirmed that they are cognizant of the difficulties and are actively working towards finding solutions.
